Work Safely at Heights & on Roofs

Built Training & Education is proud to offer the RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights & ICTWHS201 - Provide telecommunications services safely on roofs, as a one day program. The program involves both scheduled classroom learning activities and simulated workplace training and assessment. This program provides learners with skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights.
Duration
The program is designed to be delivered over one day (7 hours). Built Training & Education is able to support participants that need additional time.
Course fees
Debit/Credit card payment via secure system (Stripe) as well as Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
Entry requirements

Units of Competency
RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights is a single unit of competency.
The competency has been drawn from the nationally endorsed industry training package the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package (RII).
ICTWHS201 - Provide telecommunications services safely on roofs is a single unit of competency. The competency has been drawn from the nationally endorsed industry training package the ICT Information and Communications Technology training package.
On successfully completing the training and assessment, statements of attainment will be issued for each unit of competency. The units of competency are nationally recognised and provides individuals with a valuable qualification that can be applied throughout Australia and the wider industry.
Built Training & Education will issue a statement of attainment within 2 business days of the final assessment being completed.
Delivery mode
Training is delivered in a blended mode classroom based delivery which is trainer led. Written learning activities will reinforce theoretical knowledge, and skills will be practiced where learning will be placed into context. Participants will be provided with professionally presented reference material to assist them to develop their knowledge of the subject.
Dress and equipment requirements
Students are required to present to class in neat, casual attire suitable for participation in practical activities, with closed shoes such as sneakers or safety boots.
Students will require basic stationary and a notebook according to their own study preferences during training. Access to a computer which has an internet connection is recommended to assist students to undertake study and research in response to some assessment tasks.
Students will be required to bring portable electronic devices to classroom sessions such a small laptops or tablets.
