Built Training & Education is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 46099) registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority. Built Training & Education is proud to offer the CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (Release 2), also known as White Card Training, as a one day program. The program involves both scheduled classroom learning activities and simulated workplace training and assessment. This program provides learners with skills and knowledge required to work safely in the construction industry. It is a mandatory legal requirement for all workers on a construction site to hold a White Card.
The program is designed to be delivered over one day (7 hours). Built Training & Education is able to support participants that need additional time.
Payment options

Built Training & Education can provide additional learning support to students who require basic assistance. For students who have more fundamental support needs, Built Training & Education can refer these students to a specialist language, literacy and numeracy development provider who can assist students to improve their language, literacy and numeracy skills to enable them to suitably commence the course.
CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (Release 2) is a single unit of competency.
The competency have been drawn from the nationally endorsed industry training package the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package (CPC). On successfully completing the training and assessment, the CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (Release 2) statement of attainment will be issued. The unit of competency is nationally recognised and provides individuals with a valuable qualification that can be applied throughout Australia and the wider construction industry. Built Training & Education will issue a statement of attainment within 2 business days of the final assessment being completed.
Training is delivered face to face which is trainer led. Written learning activities will reinforce theoretical knowledge, and skills will be practiced where learning will be placed into context. Participants will be provided with professionally presented reference material to assist them to develop their knowledge of the subject.
Elective Units
Students are required to present to class in neat, casual attire suitable for participation in practical activities.
Students will require basic stationary and a notebook according to their own study preferences during training. Access to a computer which has an internet connection is recommended to assist students to undertake study and research in response to some assessment tasks.
Students may bring portable electronic devices to classroom sessions such a small laptops or tables if they wish.
Please note students MUST bring original photo ID / Passport on the day.
